EA Play, what a way to kick off E3, eh?

From FIFA 18, through to some unexpected titles such as A Way Out, EA gave us a glimpse into the future, and we like what we saw!

    Big Hitters From EA

There really were some absolute stand-out titles showcased at EA Play. Sports games are a staple of EA, and they didn’t disappoint. With Madden 18, FIFA 18 and NBA LIVE 18 gracing the conference, EA continued to show the world how to produce sports games.

Each one of the games looked more immersive than ever, with FIFA 18 The Journey football fans across the world have reason to be excited. More of a b-baller or American Football fan? Don’t worry, both Madden 18 and NBA LIVE 18 look to be introducing their own style of The Journey to their arsenals. It’s a great time to be a sports fan, and these new games modes promise to get you closer to your favourite sports games than ever before.

    A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars: Battlefront II. Do we need to say much more? The force was certainly strong with this one.

The game developers have listened to the fans and promise to deliver even more than previous iterations of the game. With battlegrounds spanning all eras of the Star Wars franchise, there’ll be plenty for old and new fans of the movies alike.

Expect to see the odd cameo from fan favourites, including the likes of Yoda, Finn, Darth Maul and Kylo Ren, throughout your journey through the game.

    Take To The Battlefield

Battlefield 1 will be getting a brand new expansion pack, In The Name of The Tsar, and will be expanding the battleground to Eastern Europe. Battlefield 1 fans, rejoice!

With new maps, weapons and vehicles to get to grips with, the new expansion pack promises to deliver hours of additional war-mongering excitement. Including the hardly Russian Army and the famous Women’s Battalion, In The Name of The Tsar will give gamers even more to get their teeth around. Best start practicing your sharpshooting now then!

    Unexpected Appearances

While we expected to see the likes of these big hitters, we were graced with a few unexpected gems during EA’s conference.

Prison break style, A Way Out was of particular interest around the GAME HQ. We can’t wait to get to grips with the story and learn more about lead characters, Leo and Vincent. There’s still plenty of mystery around the game, so keep your eyes out for more information and with a release date next year, 2018 can’t get here quick enough

Alongside A Way Out, we also got a chance to see Anthem. From ever-popular studio, Bioware, we are extremely interested to see what this is all about. Futuristic, full of imposing monsters, and lots of gun battles, this look like a classic in the making. We can’t wait to find out more about this intriguing game!

    E3 Is Here!

EA certainly know how to open E3. A mixture of big and lesser known titles, we’re still trying to work out exactly what we’re most excited about. The arguments around the game office for the stand-out performer will continue long into the conference.

With the bar set so high, we can’t wait to see what other conferences will bring us! Stay tuned with GAME to find out all the latest news and announcements from E3 2017.
