Dying Light 2 will bring parkour and huge choices to consoles.

Techland gave fans a first look at the sequel during Microsoft’s E3 show. While the parkour action from the original is returning, the video focuses on the importance of player choice.

Narrative designer Chris Avellone, whose past work includes Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, came on-stage to talk about how impactful players are on the world of Dying Light 2. The decisions you make will drastically change the survivor’s landscape, and will ensure that every player’s experience is unique.

The trailer also shows how grim the world can be, as public hangings occur, and there are raised tensions between the different human factions. Of course, there’s also plenty of deadly zombies that impose a threat as well. Dying Light 2 looks to provide quite a scare from all perspectives.

Techland is quite familiar with zombie games, as the original Dying Light released in 2015. Before that, the developer released Dead Island back in 2011.

Dying Light 2 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
