After teasing us about a potential new Wolfenstein game at last year’s E3, Bethesda delivered in fine fashion at their press conference in LA, only moments ago. Get ready for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
The new story marks the return of our beloved protagonist from New Order, B.J. Blazkowicz as we venture beyond Europe, into Nazi-occupied America. Joined once again by some familiar faces, as well as some fresh new American buddies, B.J. looks to start a revolution before raising a family – to be fair, I wouldn’t want to grow up in a world overrun by Nazis either. So, who can really blame the guy?
It isn’t all bad news, though. The gameplay trailer had plenty of the series’ trademark humour, displaying the hilarious personalities of the main characters. The game definitely feels like a (much more violent) nod to Man in the High Castle – oh, and there are gigantic robots too!
Quite frankly, we are thrilled to see that our beloved protagonist, B.J. Blazkowicz managed to survive the events of the first game, and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this time around.
We can expect to get our hands on Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus when it’s released on the 27th October 2017.
The press conference will be streamed live on www.game.co.uk/e3, Facebook /gamestore and Twitch www.twitch.tv/gamedigital. You can also join us for all the updates from E3 throughout the week on our social channels:
