Star Wars: Battlefront II is back and promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor. In fact, EA have confirmed that there is three times the amount of content to that of the first game and they have focused heavily on developing a more compelling and immersive single player story campaign.
All of you players out there that love to take the fight online will be pleased to know that Star Wars: Battlefront II boasts some incredible multiplayer capabilities. Not only do we have the return of the popular ‘skirmish’ battle mode, but we will continue to have the ability to man monstrous vehicles and pilot our favourite Star Wars ships (all hail the Millennium Falcon).
It appears that developers at EA have really taken the feedback they received from players on the first instalment of Star Wars: Battlefront to heart, by striving to create a far more content rich game and new authentic single-player campaign.
The multiplayer gameplay seen from the conference looked absolutely incredible; we cannot wait to experience X-wing and TIE fighter aerial dogfights, and they have never looked so beautiful! We were also extremely excited by the reveal that we will get to play the game across all eras of the Star Wars films.
Furthermore, we will also be able to take control and wield the unique powers of some of Star Wars’ most epic heroes, including, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn and Yoda (to name a few) – shut the front door, EA!
There is no two ways about it. EA has really stepped up its game and answered the many frustrations that fans of the first game had. Both the single player story campaign and multiplayer have been re-visited and massively improved.
Here at GAME HQ, we’re particularly excited to see what Battlefront II's free DLC will include. Rumours of new maps, characters, vehicles, modes, weapons and star cards have been hinted – Oh EA, you tease! #maytheforcebewithyou
